Acoustic Byssus Core Tile

    The Acoustic Byssus Core Tile provides a physical representation of Seastex's finished acoustic panel system, bringing together our circular byssus core, precision-fabricated aluminium frame and natural textile upholstery.

    The 30 × 30 × 8 cm sample has been developed for architects, interior designers, acoustic consultants and material libraries to evaluate the construction, finish and material composition of an ABC panel before specification.

    At its centre is a 2 cm pure byssus core with no added binders, enclosed within an aluminium frame and upholstered as standard in Camira Main Line Flax, a naturally flame-retardant textile composed of 75% virgin wool and 25% flax.
